Really, that's a personal motto for me, nowadays.
But, hello to all! I've been a lifelong fan of comics, sci-fi and fantasy ever since the tender age of five. I grew disgusted by all of the sinful nature of the world we live in and delved deeper and deeper into escapism and the idolatry that comes with it, and this led me to unknowingly commit apostasy about six years ago. After dropping out of college and losing my health over that time period, among a few other things, I now work largely alone and am doing my best to overcome a (un)healthy amount of leftover misanthropy.
Comics, sci-fi and the like are still a major source of enthusiasm for me (having no realy friends, what have I to lose?)- Tolkien was right when he said that we can uncover moral clarity and play with the various items found in creation to make fun and imaginative things with which we can create moral tales to entertain and enlighten others and ourselves.
The positive is known by the negative, after all.
Really, with a bit of philosophy thrown in, what more do we need? I, for one, simply talk to others and regale them with fiction interwoven with Christianity, should they be willing to listen. I've no other future prospects, and very much enjoy doing it.
There's not much more to tell that I can currently think of, at the moment...
